Some Test Images - A selection of images from an important upcoming lens review

For over two weeks I have been taking photographs, many hundreds of them, of a variety of different subjects. As always, it wasn’t really about the thing being shot, it was the thing being shot through that was my primary concern. I am testing a unique group of high quality, high-magnification camera lenses that together form a complete set. I am not at liberty to mention the manufacturer or give any specific details about the optics but I was given permission to discuss it with a small group of supporters in last week’s Pzoom meeting.

The discussion went well and there were several interesting and probing questions. By far the most asked question concerned the images and was a request for me to post high-resolution copies of the test images, to give you a closer look. This is not a review and I will make no comments about the test shots. Some, but not all of these may be included in the formal review, but it is likely that others, not shown here, may also appear.

Lastly, if you were unable to attend on Saturday, this short post may not make a great deal of sense. It will soon, but in the meantime I cannot say anything else. My apologies.
