Product Photography, Salvage Stacking, and a New Kind of Micro Lighting...

… are a few of the topics I will be covering in the week’s live events. I kick it off today with Macro Talk (8PM today) in which I will show you how to use your basic macro skills to take exciting product images for use on your website, social media, or anywhere else you might want to use such images.

To join this discussion use this link: https://youtube.com/live/N9j-KQbgGJY?feature=share We get things rolling at 8PM central time.

And then, on Thursday afternoon, join me for Macro Talk Too where I will take you through the process of transforming a squashed, commercially sourced wasp specimen into a nice bug portrait.

A very useful skill if you occasionally purchase insects to photograph and hate throwing any of them away. Follow this link to get to that discussion: https://youtube.com/live/symebyIprRY?feature=share

On Saturday I have a jam-packed Pzoom that you won’t want to miss!

As aways, this two hour session is for my Patreon Subscribers only. If you are a Patreon supporter, please drop by the Plog page on this website to pick up your invitation. If you are not yet a Patreon Supporter but would like to find out more about joining, drop by my Patreon homepage at https://www.patreon.com/allanwallsphotography.

Coming soon is my full review of the Laowa 100mm T2.9, 2X APO Macro Cine lens…

And finally, the month of February is ALMOST OVER and it is time for you to submit your entry to the video competition. It is going to be the weekend before I can find the time to judge the entries and prepare a results video, so please be patient. There is a chance that I may already have the judging done by Saturday, in which case I may be able to announce the winners - another reason to consider becoming a member of the most awesome group of supporters on the internet (IMHO)!

One last thing before I go… this unidentified wasp was captured high in the Andes, sometime last year, and by the time I got him he was in pretty bad shape. He is the star of this week’s Macro Talk Too - you will not want to miss this one!
