But mostly photography.

We like to think of it as a personal conversation between friends. We talk about the stuff that you want to talk about.

Our listeners tell us what’s on their minds, and we get into it. You can leave us a message in the comments section wherever you get your podcasts or you can email us an audio file with your comments or questions. Press here to leave a message for the podcast…

Meet your host…

This is Allan and he is the host of the “Shoot the Breeze” photography podcast. He’s a pretty interesting guy who knows a bunch of stuff and likes to talk about photography and anything else that happens to be on his mind. He has very little hair.

His day job consists of running Allan Walls Photography, LLC and teaching photography to anyone that will stand still long enough. He also provides custom photography services, focusing on corporate, product, industrial, and marketing work, with a soft spot for small businesses and new startups. When he isn’t teaching, taking pictures, writing, or talking into a microphone, he can be found sloshing around in a swamp, hiking up a hill, or crawling through the bushes, indulging his passion for wildlife, landscape, and macro photography.

He hails from the United Kingdom, which partially explains his strange accent, but currently resides somewhere in the American deep south. Before giving in to the inexorable pull of full-time photography, he was a practicing surgeon and medical educator. This may explain his passion for teaching and the fact that he knows stuff.

He is widowed, a very bad thing, and has three incredible children, all very good things indeed. He has an unhealthy number of hobbies and interests, which he enjoys pursuing in his free time (3.5 minutes a week).

Allan decided to create this podcast because he loves the medium, subscribes to dozens of them, and saw an opportunity to contribute some fresh ideas and a new perspective to the podosphere. Despite doing so all the time, he dislikes talking to himself and urges you to subscribe to the show and join the conversation. He even approved adding this button so that you can tell him what’s on your mind and he can tell the world about it. Nice!
