Lens corrections and the transform panel - Lightroom Tutorial #8
Another day, another Lightroom Classic video!
This week we take a look at the Lens Correction panel and the Transform panel.
In the first part of the video we take a look at the ways in which your camera lens can introduce distortion or color fringing, or both. I’ll show you how to remove red/cyan and blue/yellow lateral chromatic aberration (super easy) and also how to manage purple/green axial chromatic aberration (fairly tricky).
We’ll also get into lens distortion and I’ll show you how to fix the common types.
In the second half of this fairly short video, I’ll walk you through the Transform tools for correcting problems related to perspective.
When I first learned my way around around Lightroom, I found some of these concepts a little confusing. Hopefully, after watching this video, you won’t!
Enjoy the video and I’ll see you soon with episode 9.
